Our Club Participated in MISSION BIJLI, a mammoth project of our Dist 3231 A3. 52 Anganwadis were powered with Solar Energy with one fan & 3 lights in each of them. For years till now, the Children from these Anganwadis were deprived of this basic facility of fan & lights. Last year 30 Anganwadis were provided the solar power, making it 82 in total. This means that all Anganwadis in Jhamsar, Ghiwanda & Sakur Vibhags today have lights & fans due to the Mission Bijli Project with the support of various Corporates & many Lions Clubs as mentioned on the circular attached in this post. The Mission is committed to provide fans & lights to all the remaining Anganwadis of Jawhar in due course of time. Smt Pramila Tai Kokad & team from Divya Vidyalaya, Jawhar was the local Coordinator of the project.
